This was fourth and final animal mascot character design I came up with for the children's stationary company. For some reason the hippo came out looking really sad. This is probably how I look when 10pm rolls around on Sunday night. Anyway, this contest was really fun to work on. Designing the different animal mascots was a nice change of pace from the more serious comic book like art work I had been working on for the development of the animated TV show "Elemental Guardians". Next time I will post some concept art from the show.
